Only star for ambiance
Otherwise Rise has unethical practices.
We ordered two naans, it didn’t came as whole but into small pieces, looked suspicious of quantity. Also ordered, 4 butter rotis, server only came with two and declared all ordered served, Upon cross check, it was found that it was short of what was ordered and after showing him evidence, he brought due. Horrible experience, were we there to do audit or enjoy food ?! But we took it easy but last revelation was out of mind.

They served normally available water bottles of bisleri having written MRP of 20/- on bottle but we were charged with 120/- each bottle, despite of printed MRP, how can hotel charge more and that is hefty 6 times high. We complained to manager and he said sorry and ready to waive off our money which was more horrible and we didn’t accept that. It means they were aware of such open loot and unethical practices done by management. Another manager told that he was unaware of MRP and his argument was no one till date complained except you. So this is their class.

Matter here is of not money. Neither hotel nor us going to gain or less any significant amount but policy of looting people like tourist higher prices on highways, hotel management did so being aware. It means they want to make profit at any cost, even with illegal, unethical practices of trade, this means they will go to any level when it comes to providing food just to squeeze out profit from it. Pathetic by brand hotel in GIFT city, they are maligning name of GIFT city as well. Will never ever going to RISE and going to sue them to trade illegal business.

Taste was also average
Butter chicken was just sugary purie with few chicken chunks and hardly any meat found in mutton dish.

Shame on the management of RISE restaurant at GIFT city club Gandhinagar Gujarat.

So had some good news for me and wanted to celebrate it with a bang so choose a exotic place to celebrate for myself but was very disappointed on my decision. This restaurant is situated inside Gift city club, member of Radisson group. I didn't had a buffet meal since a long time so wanted to go for one. I would first say why I have this place 2 star, the place is beautiful by the ambiance, gives you a luxury look definitely I would say. The sitting is quite small. The service of this place is good. The worst thing is the variety of options they are providing you are not enough for the price they are asking. You get handful of dishes for your meal over here. They have 2 or 3 starter, 2 or 3 main course. I would not define this place as a 5 star buffet. If they have kept variety of dishes to a minimum side the taste also is not that fantastic that you should visit this place. What I have loved about the 5 star buffet is that there deserts and over here they were also not upto the mark. This place have really disappointed me. The place is expensive but not justifying what they are asking.
I would not suggest this place to anyone.

Overall food quality was awesome. Staff was very courteous and polite. Enjoyed being here. Service can be bit quick. Will definitely recommend this place.
