Otherwise Rise has unethical practices.
We ordered two naans, it didn’t came as whole but into small pieces, looked suspicious of quantity. Also ordered, 4 butter rotis, server only came with two and declared all ordered served, Upon cross check, it was found that it was short of what was ordered and after showing him evidence, he brought due. Horrible experience, were we there to do audit or enjoy food ?! But we took it easy but last revelation was out of mind.
They served normally available water bottles of bisleri having written MRP of 20/- on bottle but we were charged with 120/- each bottle, despite of printed MRP, how can hotel charge more and that is hefty 6 times high. We complained to manager and he said sorry and ready to waive off our money which was more horrible and we didn’t accept that. It means they were aware of such open loot and unethical practices done by management. Another manager told that he was unaware of MRP and his argument was no one till date complained except you. So this is their class.
Matter here is of not money. Neither hotel nor us going to gain or less any significant amount but policy of looting people like tourist higher prices on highways, hotel management did so being aware. It means they want to make profit at any cost, even with illegal, unethical practices of trade, this means they will go to any level when it comes to providing food just to squeeze out profit from it. Pathetic by brand hotel in GIFT city, they are maligning name of GIFT city as well. Will never ever going to RISE and going to sue them to trade illegal business.
Taste was also average
Butter chicken was just sugary purie with few chicken chunks and hardly any meat found in mutton dish.
Shame on the management of RISE restaurant at GIFT city club Gandhinagar Gujarat.
