This review is specifically for renuka food at Cluster A, EON .
One word to describe the food served here is -----SPICY !!
My maharastrian friends (who are well acquainted with and used to spicy food ) too found it spicy.
Had the spiciness been bcoz of green chilly powder or some masala tat makes food tasty ,then I could have agreed to the high spicy levels .
But it's spiciness is majorly bcoz of the red chilly powder they add thus making it hard to digest.
I tasted their thali thrice to confirm it was not a mistake (thinking that the cook must have had a bad day or two ).But it happened on all three occasions despite providing them the feedback .(and hence my conclusion )
But before i write it off, there is a SILVER LINING to it.
SWEET DISH !!
It is the only food joint(Cluster A ,EON) that provides a sweet dish along with the thali.
Trust me the sweet dish tastes more sweet while having the spicy food .
My recommendation is if you have tolerance for spicy food it is worth trying .
Not to forget it's location close to the counter which makes it an obvious choice for new comers.
Renuka foods is situated in Cluster C cafeteria in the Basement. I eat here almost daily. There are other options available however Renuka food serve quality and delicious food in a cost-efficient manner. So I prefer this place over others.
They cook and serve it hot. The preparation is neat and you can tell the ingredients distinctly by just savoring the Aroma. I like Butter Chicken, Chicken Dum Biryani, Aloo Mutter, Dal Preparations, Kulcha, Laccha Parataha, Dal Khichdi here. The staff is friendly and Service is Good Enough. You would still want to avoid visiting this place between 1-1:30 as you might have to wait in a queue to get your hunger satisfied.
