This restaurant is in Mangalam hotel next to Lakshmi Narayan Mandir on Sarat Bose Road. It's a very simple but neat place. The ambience is ordinary and the place small and generally only a few tables are occupied. The service is ok. But the food is very good. Been there on three to four times and they have always served tasty food. This time we had takeaway and as usual their food was delicious. Their Black dal, on their best day is one of the best I've had. Paneer too was good. The breads, naan and tandoori roti was ok. Another great dish was their biriyani.. Fragrant and aromatic. My bong frnds were amazed that veg biryani could be this good. They didn't miss their meat!

I went there through the Groupon offer without calling on a weekday but they refused a table even though it was empty, probably because they got to know I had come through Groupon. I then deliberately called them asking for a table and I was assured a table! What is the point of offering on Groupon if you do not wish to entertain such customers. Instead of promoting, they are defaming themselves!! Can't believe such an ordinary restaurant can throw such tantrums!! Probably that is why nobody goes there!! Sick mentality sick restaurant!!

Not at all good. Bad service, very much ego in their service, even bad food quality. All in all bad .They does not ask for any thing you have to call and give the order.
