During my visit to Rudra Tourist Dhaba, located on the outskirts of a busy highway, I was instantly greeted by a warm, rustic ambiance. The dhaba was bustling with travelers, making it feel like a perfect pitstop for long-distance drivers and hungry road trippers. The smell of sizzling food wafted through the air, setting the mood for what was to come. I decided to try their signature dish—dal tadka with butter naan. The dal was perfectly seasoned, rich in flavor, and had a smooth, creamy texture. The naan was soft and had a crispy edge, a great accompaniment to the dal. For something extra, I also ordered their special Punjabi-style chaap, which was smoky, tender, and packed with spices. The staff were friendly and quick to serve, despite the constant rush. The seating area was simple but comfortable, with a few traditional wooden benches and vibrant, colorful decor adding a touch of local charm. What stood out most was the relaxed, unpretentious vibe of the place—no frills, just great food and a sense of hospitality.
