On my recent trip to Pushkar, I made a quick stop in Jaipur and grabbed lunch at RJ 14, right opposite Elements Mall in Shanti Nagar. Fun fact — RJ 14 is actually Jaipur’s RTO code! The restaurant brands itself as a modern dhaba and serves up a 100% vegetarian menu. The vibe? Super chill — a mix of desi and contemporary with high ceilings, warm lighting, and a lovely outdoor section surrounded by greenery. Plus, there’s plenty of parking (with attendants!) so you can just pull in and relax. We went for a fresh lime soda, sev tamatar sabji, and some hot tandoori rotis. The sabji was creamy and mildly spiced — not too fiery, but comforting and full of that homely Rajasthani flavor. Clean space, great service, good food, and an easygoing atmosphere — RJ 14 totally hits the sweet spot for a relaxed lunch stop. If you’re passing through Jaipur, this one’s worth a pitstop!
