Food quality is extremely good and worth paying for, even if it feels slightly premium. This restaurant genuinely caters to everyone, from a 5-year-old to an 85-year-old. One of the very few places I have seen that serves everything under one roof: pav bhaji, bhel, pizza, pasta, South Indian meals and a range of continental desserts, almost round the clock, with excellent efficiency, zero unnecessary delays, proper hygiene, and consistently lip-smacking taste. Quick Bite Mulshi is an excellent food stop on the Pune-Konkan road via Tamhini Ghat, especially for anyone heading towards Mulshi. Around 20 years ago, this place was a very average vadapav-style joint with just 2-4 basic rooms near the Mulshi dam backwaters. Today, it has completely levelled up and transformed into a proper destination restaurant. The highlight is the huge lakeside dining area with a direct view of Mulshi Lake, which makes lunch here a memorable experience. During the night, the lakeside seating is closed, and the roadside restaurant section remains functional. The property is well planned with three distinct seating zones: a regular restaurant section near the entrance, a spacious and comfortable lobby-style seating as you move ahead, and finally the lakeside seating at the end. I visited on a Monday during my stay at a Mulshi villa, and the experience was so good that I came back again the next day before heading home. It is most certainly better than Basho’s, which is located right beside it, both in terms of food quality and overall experience. The staff is extremely polite, attentive, and well trained, adding to the relaxed and welcoming vibe. Most guests are well-mannered and quiet, although occasionally a few loud tables can disturb the otherwise peaceful lakeside atmosphere. There is sufficient roadside parking available, uncovered, unassisted, and without valet service, but adequate. Their resort and stay facility has also improved significantly; the swimming pool looked sparkling clean and well maintained. Washrooms were fairly clean, though they should ideally be checked and maintained 4–5 times a day considering the crowd. Do note that staying here might be a bit noisy, as the restaurant is busy and located above the accommodation. Overall, this is a confirmed stop and a must-visit long-drive lunch spot. Every Punekar who enjoys scenic drives, good food, and lakeside views should try Quick Bite Mulshi at least once. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian, Large vegetarian selection, Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: An extensive menu to choose from, not less than a 3/4-star premium eatery. The choice of dishes is unbelievable. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot, Free of charge street parking Parking: Beautiful lake-side seating, peaceful dining experience. Kid-friendliness: Kids have ample area to run and jump around. Wheelchair accessibility: The stairs and platform raises render a slightly non-wheelchair friendly situation.
