Extremely Disappointing & Unprofessional Experience As Air India Express operating crew, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism from a contracted layover hotel unfortunately, Hotel Pushpak in Calicut failed completely. Despite being visibly tired and slightly unwell after duty, I was denied basic room service and food. I requested just one simple meal before resting for an early morning flight, yet the staff bluntly refused. They kept quoting “rules” — none of which were ever clearly communicated or displayed. The management’s attitude was rude, insensitive, and absolutely non-hospitable. There was zero concern for crew welfare, rest, or operational readiness which is shocking for a hotel expecting to host aviation crew regularly. Overall a pathetic experience with unprofessional handling by the management. Not recommended at all. Service: 1

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pushpak Grande, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, making the check-in process quick and seamless. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that all my needs were met. A special mention goes to Shruthi and Jiten, who not only served food with a smile and warmth but also took the time to engage with me personally, adding a lovely, thoughtful touch to my stay. The food was nothing short of extraordinary – each dish was delectably flavorful and truly a highlight of my visit. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for excellent service, delightful food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Service: 5
