After enjoying Lakshman Jhula, go to this restaurant that is not far away. The menu of Vegetarian cuisine under the direction of the great chef is gorgeous here. Punyah Cafe should be recommended for perfectly cooked paneer. Great coffee will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back.

Fully vegetarian cafe that can do a lot of dishes vegan. We tried many items and everything was really nice :) especially these Chinese cauliflower balls - they were completely different than expected but soo nice. The pancakes were great too, they can do them vegan with peanut butter and banana. And the best: it belongs to a hotel and they have adopted 7 street dogs and care so lovingly for them Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I ordered the tofu roll and fries. 15 minutes later the waiter came with the fries and informed me they didn’t have tofu. He was very apologetic but didn’t explain why it wasn’t communicated sooner that they were out of stock for the main dish. Punyah cafe has never disappointed me each time I visit here. Food is lovely specially chinese cuisine and Israeli. Lovely people and great service. I recommend anyone travelling to Rishikesh.
