~~Punjab Haveli Dhaba, Hyderabad - Mancherial Hwy, Thumukunta~~ Yesterday evening, thought of venturing out for dinner amidst the rains. Drove to Punjab Haveli Dhaba in Thumukunta as one of my friends suggested and recommended this place. It is a small place of 60 seats, just beside Alankrita Resort. The ambiance is earthy, quirky, and colourful. The place was half full when we reached about 8:15-8:30 PM. We were seated quickly, and orders were placed. In the starter, we had Tabdoori Chicken (half plate). It came with 4 big pieces of chicken, and tasted great. It had a nice smell of burnt butter which felt good. For the main course, we ordered Tadkewali Dal, Tawa Masala Chicken, and a couple of Garlic naans. The naans were soft, big, crispy-- exactly the way it should be. Tadkewali Dal was bang on taste. The Tawa Masala Chicken could have been better, though. It had huge quantities of chopped green chillies, and was overtly hot (spicy). It was so hot that we couldn’t find out what the real taste of the dish was. Ended the meal with one lassi (one by two), which was great in everything, except they added some syrup/ flavour which gabe it a bit weird flavour. I like my lassi thick, plain and simple. Overall, it was a decent meal. Service was very good. Pocket pinch for all of the above items was 1400+. A Must-Visit Punjabi Experience on the Way to Yadagirigutta! I had the pleasure of dining at Punjabi Haveli Dhaba during my trip to Yadagirigutta — not just once, but both while going and coming back! I instantly fell in love with the vibrant Punjabi-style ambiance. The traditional decor, especially the big Pagada, adds such a rich and cultural charm that truly stands out. The staff were incredibly polite and respectful, making the experience even more memorable. I ordered parathas, and of course, no Punjabi meal feels complete without a glass of their delicious, creamy lassi — absolutely mouth-watering and satisfying! It was a wholesome, heartfelt meal that left a lasting impression. A big thank you to Punjabi Haveli Dhaba for the amazing food and warm hospitality. Sharing a few glimpses from my visit to relive the vibe! Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
