Visited Punjabee Rasoi on 07/12/2024. Located in the lane opposite to the Acropolis Mall, this is one of the top restaurants in South Kolkata serving North Indian cuisine. We ordered:1) Mutton Adrak Ke Panja - Rs 6602) Murg Lasuni Kabab (Half) - Rs 2203) Fresh Lime Soda - Rs 904) Butter Naan - Rs 905) Chicken Do-Piazza - Rs 3206) Firni - Rs 80 Their signature dish is quite easily Mutton Adrak Ke Panje, which is absolutely mouthwatering and undoubtedly one of the finest mutton dishes you will ever experience. Murg Lasuni Kabab was a winner as well, packing in the right flavours. Butter Naan was soft and freshly prepared. The surprise package of the day was clearly the Chicken Do-Piazza which was supremely delicious. Firni had the perfect balance of sweetness and was moderately priced. Ambience is good, but nothing extraordinary. Service is prompt. Overall, Punjabee Rasoi sets very high standards when it comes to North Indian cuisine and their consistency in maintaining the quality of their dishes make them stand apart in the crowd of similar restaurants in South Kolkata.
