Good service, nice spot to relax and catch up with a bunch of friends however the food was quite average and hence would recommend visiting Prithvi for the ambience and its legacy and not particularly for the food! We were lucky enough to get a table immediately however, the cafe is known to have long wait times so would suggest planning accordingly. Why visit :
The Prithvi Theatre owned and managed by the Kapoor family is one of the most iconic places in the city. Located in a quaint lane, away from all the noises of the busy streets, this Theatre has a Café just outside, the Prithvi Café.
An open air Café with lights dangling from above, this place is buzzing at any given time. Right from college students to old people, Prithvi Cafe feels like home to everyone. The cool, casual ambience of the Café sets one at ease.
Prithvi Café is not just a place to visit for the food. It’s an experience in itself. One of the many faces of Mumbai is right here, at Prithvi

Located in Prithvi Theatre at Juhu in Mumbai, Prithvi Cafe is a nostalgic piece of Mumbai's history. It is an outdoor garden cafe with open air, hugged by gorgeous trees, bamboo and plants and hanging lanterns, where the creatives are celebrated. It is mainly known for its North Indian snacks, Irish coffee, and Cutting Chai. But it also serves varieties of paratha that come highly recommended such as Chilli cheese paratha, Mushroom paratha, Paneer gobi paratha, etc. This cafe soaks in the history of Amchi Mumbai. A bohemian cafe on a large, shady terrace attached to the Prithvi Theatre that’s something of a cultural hub of intellectuals, artists and theatre types.
