Popular Pastry point is one of the oldest shops near Parshuram Chowk in Vasundhara. Located in the basement of Mahaveer plaza just below Mayur sweets and Bakers. They deal in all types of confectionery/bakery items. Sorry to say the owner's behaviour is very very rude to even his servants but to the customers as well. One can often see him howling at the servants in the shop. Moreover, he never thinks twice before speaking ill to the customers. I WAS one of the regular buyers from them but recently when we expressed our dissatisfaction from the cake they prepared for us, he cited irrelevant reasons to overshadow their mistakes. The cake's base was so small that the cake's boundary was coming over the base edges and the shape deformed when it was packed. When we pressed more on there improper make, he spewed with wide eyes "aise hi banta hai, lena hai to lo" and we were left with no choice. I just consumed my anger and swear never ever to return this shop again. Later on, we suffered more with the mess of the loosely bound cake. It was so loose that the pieces were falling as soon as one lifts. It fell on our clothes, table, ground and here and there. after a while, we were left with the piles of tissue papers which were used to clean the wrath it created. Moreover, there were no fruit fillings inside which were promised on the order. I mean not even the shop owner behaviour is of poor standards, there cake and pastries are the benchmark for low standards. I suggest people look for other good shops if you want to avoid such bad experiences.
