A busy restaurant on the ground floor of claridges. With descent environment and big glass windows to look outside In the porsche area where cars enter. Each item is ranged from twelve hundred to fifteen hundred which is fine but the food preparations were below average. The basic Margherita Pizza which any cafe would Bake better, was atrocious and so was lasagne. The place has very limited vegetarian options. Mushroom soup was decent and this isn't love, had only vegetables. With no great seasonings. Overall a poor experience. Pickwicks is what I grew up with. Of course not everyday given the prices. This time went after years. The newly done decor is confused. Forced charm. Bad. Food is where this place is a legend. Been having the London grill for years and is almost special. Almost because the chicken sausage is terrible. Rest of it is light fantastic. Jus is exceptional. What is most endearing about this place is the warmth and politeness of the staff. Try it. You will go again !
