Pav Bhaji Centre Anna Ki Tapri has been one of the oldest and most loved spots in Panvel for pav bhaji. I’ve been visiting it since my childhood, and it’s always been known for the incredible aroma of the bhaji that would spread far and wide, drawing in customers. The pav bhaji back then was a real treat — rich, flavorful, and just the right mix of spices, served hot with buttery pav. A few years ago, the stall moved to a new location, and while the pav bhaji is still decent, it’s not quite the same as it used to be. The taste has slightly downgraded, and it no longer gives that same nostalgic feeling. That said, the pav bhaji is still good, and if you’re craving some street food, it’s worth a visit. I’d especially recommend their Maska Pav Bhaji, which is the best item on the menu. It has that perfect buttery touch and a rich flavor that makes it stand out. They also serve tawa pulao, but I found it to be just okay – nothing extraordinary. The stall is run by a family who are always polite and attentive, making the experience even better. The seating is basic and limited, but it fits the vibe of a street food spot. It’s a no-frills place where you can enjoy a quick meal. Overall, while I miss the old taste and atmosphere, Pav Bhaji Centre Anna Ki Tapri still offers a decent pav bhaji experience. I hope they can bring back that same authentic taste from earlier, but for now, it’s still a good spot for a quick bite in Panvel.
