I visited Patiala House based on review of the 'Old' Patiala house, which had a good mix of North Indian dishes and lunch combos.
The combos have been drastically scaled down. The prices too have been reduced but not proportionately. The menu only looks North Indian, but has lost most of its characteristics.
Eg.: From a Patiala House Shahi Thali consisting of 3 rotis, 2 curries, dal, rice, papad, raita and dessert, it only a regular thali consisting of 2 rotis, 1 curry, dal, rice and curd.
The parantha alone holds out as kinda authentic North Indian.
The service is slow, even when there isn't much crowd.
Disappointed...

Location: A 4.. In middle of a residential locality.
Ambiance: A 3.. Just ok..
Food: A 2.5... Nothing Patiala about it...
Service: A 2.5.. Bearable...
Price: A 3.. For a budged limited lunch, its ok..
