The Venue & Ambiance We recently held a small function at Papootty Hall. If you are looking for a space for a gathering of 50+ people, this hall is a decent choice. The seating capacity was more than enough for our group, and the hall itself wasn't bad considering the price point. Food Experience Our menu included a variety of non-vegetarian dishes and desserts: The Good: The chicken fry and salads were tasty and well-prepared. The Disappointing: Unfortunately, the duck curry and beef curry did not meet the standards expected for a function. Both were very watery and lacked the richness/flavor usually found in event catering. Desserts: The dessert spread—Ice cream fruit salad and Gulab Jamun with ice cream—was enjoyable and a nice finish to the meal. Value for Money Hall Rent: Very affordable and budget-friendly. Catering: While the hall itself is cheap, we felt the food was overpriced relative to the quality, especially given the issues with the main curries. A good option if you are on a budget for the venue, but you might want to be very specific about your requirements if using their in-house catering.
