It isn't actually a paid mess but a budget café-like thing. Once you've explored the menu you'll probably stick to one or two items throughout your stay. Evening snacks can be considered really good and the staff is pretty decent too. You won't get a-la-carte items here like a frooti or a lassi, but you can get that from the departmental store nearby - nevertheless, the rush is real and the competition to eat your meals and also save some time to walk around is cut-throat.
