Definitely don't deserve the hype and below average taste and quality...Adding employees salary to dishes won't make better taste. They tried to miss-sell there dish beef fry and beef ullarth by adding some chopped coconut to same dish in two plates like we are some fool to order their fantasy pricing. Also sloppy service. Will suggest new mubarak restaurant statue for good meals and best fish fry. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400

My second visit to Plav and definitely my last. We ordered the fish mango curry and neymeen fry. The fish in the curry was apparently still emotionally attached to the ocean because it was almost raw. The curry was way below average. At one point we literally had to fish the fish out of the curry, carefully set them aside and finish our meal with just the gravy for survival. Then came the neymeen fry. Calling it a “piece” feels generous. It was so small and thin it could’ve doubled as a 'bookmark'. Honestly, I must applaud the chef’s knife slicing skills - turning a fish into something the thickness of a leaf requires serious dedication. Quantity was minimal, quality was questionable, and the prices were… ambitious. To be fair, the service and ambience were actually good, which made the food situation even more confusing. It’s like showing up to a beautiful wedding only to discover the cake is made of cardboard. All in all, lovely place to sit, chat and enjoy the vibe. Just maybe eat elsewhere before you go.
