You have a chance to degust tasty chicken parmigiana, fried prawns and roti. Offering nicely cooked cheesecakes, brownies and red velvet cakes is the feature of this restaurant. You will hardly forget delicious beer, wine or liqueur that you can drink. Tasting the great juice is a decent choice.
The warm atmosphere of Over The Top makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. Many visitors underline that the staff is creative at this place. Prompt service is something clients agree upon here. You will appreciate affordable prices. Guests appreciate the chance to enjoy the modern decor. Service : Hospitality was good. Greeted us when we entered and came to take order on time. But I waited for around 30-35 mins for a simple Alfredo!! Taste was 7 out of 10. Don't remember the name of the drink but it was also good.
Overall you won't feel you are sitting at place over a five star hotel.
The dj and food was average and lacked variety. But the bar was really good.
Been there, done that! Oh yeah and trust me i loved every bit of it! The ambiance by the pool on that super chilly evening, those drinks blended right in front of you (yeah, the bartender blends/shakes/stirs/sweetens them, all right on your table, fun, ain't it?) If you're a teetotaler like me, you can try the Virgin Mimosa, as i wanted to cut back on calories and lighten things up before my grand date, "wink wink"
Coming to the food, they have a very limited menu since it's a bar & grill but honestly it's thoughtfully curated and almost every dish on the menu deserves a mention and applaud to the team behind it. Started off with a Karari Roti & it definitely was a Karari start to my evening!
Paneer, in any form doesn’t really entice me, but I gave the Peshawari Paneer a shot nevertheless, honestly to even name it as Peshawari Paneer is an abomination, but hey, it tasted great, oh yeah, I said that! Go ahead, try it, for this carnivore recommends, also would love if the management changes the name to Paneer Lazeez, maybe? Just Saying!
The Afghani Chicken Tikka was next and it was served just as it should be, Perfect!
Tried the Korean fried Chicken Wings whilst sipping on my Virgin Mimosa! How were they, you ask?
Extra crispy and spicy, liked ‘em but I’ll still prefer buff wings over these any day.
The tandoori prawns were absolutely classic, a bit chewy but delicious with the right amount of marination and definitely charred to perfection!
Tried the Chicken Parmigiana as the main course! Pan seared Chicken breast crumbed with parmesan & tomato basil and served with linguini aglio olio! Soul food, according to my date of the evening! Needless to say, I loved it! The Pardewali Biryani – Fragrant Basmati rice layered with chunks of chicken and love! A must try at Over the Top!
Among the Desserts, the Rasmalai was a clear winner, never and I mean never have I had a Rasmalai which literally felt like Sex in the mouth (Excuse the expression) But yeah, it was Orgasmic!
The idea of a Perfect Dinner Date is to Reserve a table at Over The Top – Radisson Blu Hinjewadi.
