Dear Adreesh,We’ll start by acknowledging the delay in service. You are right, there was a 45–50 minute wait today (15th Jun) due to an unusually high volume of orders. We apologize for the delay. However, OriBonng is not a fast-food outlet. Every dish we serve is made from scratch, using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and during peak hours, that process can understandably take a little longer. And we have communicated about this in a subtle way inside our restaurant premises and one cant usually miss this communication. As for the pricing, we are completely transparent about it. All rates are clearly listed on the menu. We work with premium produce. We hope you are aware of the skyrocketing prices of ingredients, whether that's for cholar dal or mutton. Our pricing reflects the ingredients, the hygiene standards we maintain, and the costs of fine-dining in a place like Gurgaon. Regarding your comment about the waitress, we’d like to categorically state that no member of our staff behaved aggressively. In fact, our service team is consistently praised for their warmth. Many of our repeat guests come back specifically because of the hospitality they receive here.You mentioned that you found the food bland or below standard, yet no such concern was raised at the table. Not once during your time at the restaurant did you ask for anything to be changed, adjusted or replaced. If something had fallen short, you only had to mention it. We always accommodate requests and ensure guests leave satisfied. More importantly, we also have footage of your table, and every dish was polished off. So we’re genuinely confused: if it was that inedible, how was nothing left behind?As for the reference to another restaurant, we would like to not compare. But for context, we’ve had many diners switch to OriBonng from other more “established” places recently, and tell us this is now their go-to for Bengali food in Gurgaon.Constructive feedback helps us improve. But exaggeration, after-the-fact claims, and contradictions between what happened and what’s posted publicly don’t feel fair to the team that worked hard, or to the food itself.We hope this clarifies.
