We initially ordered the soup of the day which the waiter told was Tomato basil, Risoto and Walnut & Taco salad. After a while the waiter came back and told us that Walnut and Taco salad is not available. Ok, so we ordered summer salad which again was notified as not available. Then we changed our order to a Frittata with specific instructions to not add any onion or garlic. Later the manager confirmed whether we had ordered the soup of the day which was Cream of Mushroom... We were perplexed and checked again as the waiter had told us that it was Tomato Basil. The manager said that Tomato Basil was not available. So we cancelled our soup. After all this mix up with the order we were finally set with our order (Risoto and Frittata without onion and garlic) and were waiting for the food to come. Note that there was only one other customer in the restaurant at that time so the mixup was not really because of the rush.
After 15-20 mins of waiting we checked with the waiter about our food and he said that Frittata will take 5 more minutes. After 5 minutes we checked with the manager for food specifically for Risoto if it was ready and he seemed confused. Apparently the waiter forgot and had not placed the order for Risoto in the kitchen!!!! The manager told that the risoto will take 15-20 minutes to prepare as it had to be baked. As it was already 10:30 in the night and we had spent 40 min there we had no other option, so we waited for our food.
The Frittata arrived guess what, with loads of garlic!! The manager checked and confirmed that we had ordered for it without garlic in the kitchen and replaced the veggies. The risoto came after 15 mins and we could finally have the food.
It wasn't a crowded day, wednesday evening with only 1 other customer still they goofed up on service big time. The food tasted fine but the service was pathetic, multiple times we had to remind the waiter to get water, the AC was not working properly and we were sweating while having food. Finally we left with a very bad experience. Still why 2.0 and not 1.0 because the food was good but please do something about the service and the customer experience.
