Old World Charm is exactly what its name suggests, the charming treasures of old world on your table, in your dish. This place is exactly in front of TI Mall above Mahavir sports and is serving some unique combinations and some lost recipes.
Old World Charm is basically a prominent destination to have a good time with your family on a beautiful evening or to have a good Sunday buffet filled with authentic Indian food.
Yes, they have many options for non-vegetarian lovers but they also some unique and thoughtful combinations for vegetarians as well. The ones I loved are here below-
Jameen ke kebabs- Non vegetarians generally make fun of veg kebabs but here you see a recipe from ancient times where veggies from below the groud are rolled as kebabs. Also, these kebabs are for those who are down to earth ???
Lahsun ki Kheer- Weird hai sunne me but the most unique dessert I have ever tried. Highly recommended.
Jungli Aloo- very basic and simple but has a very rich taste.
Indrahaar ki kadhi- nostalgic taste as kadhi is already an household dish.
Hara chana matar- Great green curry to have. Delicious, nutritious and has a great hint of cloves on it.
Concluding my words by saying that you should definitely try this place to ease out from junk foods available in town. Old recipes have thier own charm.
“Mr Ravi Pratap Ranawat” the royal man behind Old World Charm has made a lot of elbow grease to curate every dish.
I visited this royal place with my friends and we had a lot of amazing things like
Mutton Soola: Beaten meat was super moist and juicy. You might doubt that is not a slice of meat because it was so soft and tender.
Shikari Gosht: You can witness lots of Lal mirch over the top but it was not so spicy.
Nepali Chutney Chicken: Made with Kala til.
Indrahaar ki kadhi: It was made with 5 kinds of dal. It was supposed to be the prasad of Indra Devata.
We also had Vinegar Onion Fish,
Paneer Soola, Jameen ke Kabab, Chatpate Aloo, Deghchi Mutton, Bhopali MurgKorma
Hara Chana Matar, Jungli Aloo, Gulab ki kheer and Lasan ki kheer. Everything was super tasty and mouth-watering.
The whole staff was so diligent and fast in service. After eating so much royal food I can say that we spent a royal evening.
