Right after seeing Shivala Ghat, come here for a meal. Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Chinese cuisine is waiting for you. Taste good paneer, soup and veggie crumble to form your opinion about this restaurant. Nothing can be better than eating tasty biscuits, brownies and apple pie. Most likely, you'll return to New Bread Of Life later to try delicious tea, americano or fresh juices.
The knowledgeable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. This place is notable for its nice service. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are reasonable. The food was so delicious! Both the navratan korma, garlic naan and apple pie were amazing. The staff was very kind also. A friendly little place with a mighty menu. New Bread of Life was recommended by our hotel a few doors down. We thought, “Why not?” since we could almost fall out of our hotel’s lobby into the restaurant, and we were feeling particularly lazy about battling scooters for walking space to anywhere much farther. I wasn’t looking for the best paneer butter masala I’ve ever had, but I found it here. Perhaps this is blasphemous, considering the dish’s Delhi origins. I did have it at one of the places in Delhi that is believed to have invented it; theirs was good, but not as good as this, in my opinion. New Bread of Life’s chef is definitely their secret weapon. His fried rice is excellent. We had the corn soup flavored with ginger—also excellent. We tried the fresh-baked apple pie—excellent. We liked everything enough to return multiple times over the course of our week in Varanasi. The owner and staff really give you the feeling they’re happy to have you as their guest—this is while you’re sitting there eating, for a pittance, some of the best-tasting dishes anyone has possibly ever prepared for you.
