Nestled in the less-traveled area of Gandhipuram panchayath near the Upparpalli check post, Nandakam primarily caters to those with a penchant for pure vegetarian cuisine. Although Nandakam might not catch your eye on typical restaurant listings beyond a basic Google profile, its offerings hint at the authentic flavor of traditional South Indian dining. With a focus on vegetarian fare, it attracts diners seeking genuine vegetarian-only options and caters especially well to breakfast enthusiasts.
Service flexibility stands out at Nandakam, providing choices like kerbside pickup, no-contact delivery, regular delivery, drive-through, takeaway, and dine-in. Not much is known about parking occupancy, but a free parking lot is available. Despite a scarcity of recent updates or additional owner information, some visit recollections suggest it maintains an appealing quality for those who venture to this hidden spot. If you find yourself exploring the underrepresented culinary streets of Tirupati, Nandakam might just offer a noteworthy vegetarian experience.

Nandakam Pure Veg Restaurant – Tirupati (Bangalore-Tirupati Highway) We visited Nandakam Pure Veg Restaurant for dinner during our trip to Tirupati. The restaurant is conveniently located on the Bangalore-Tirupati Highway, just before entering Tirupati city, making it a good stop for travelers. We reached a bit early around 7:30 PM, and the restaurant was quiet initially but started filling up soon after. Here's what we ordered: Hot & Sour Soup: Flavorful and well-balanced – a good start to the meal. Masala Papad: Slightly disappointing – they served two small Lijjat papads topped with a cold mix of onion, tomato, carrot, etc. Crispy Paneer: Excellent! The paneer was soft inside with a perfectly crispy and flavorful coating – definitely a must-try. For the main course: Mushroom Masala with Butter Roti: The gravy was rich and tasty, but the real surprise was the butter roti – thin, soft, and served hot. Veg Pulao: Aromatic and flavorful – a satisfying portion. The restaurant offers a good variety of North Indian and Chinese dishes, all in a pure veg setting. The ambience was clean and calm, and service was prompt and courteous. If you're looking for a clean, family-friendly veg restaurant near Tirupati with solid food options, Nandakam is worth a visit!
