    From one of the best to now one of the worst. Only Idly is still good. Ghee roast was burnt and there was no ghee. Sambhar vadai was like rock. Plain dosa was not cooked well. Never go and eat here. Previously this hotel was good not now. I'm a local in this city. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner

    A Must-Visit for Authentic Madurai Idlis! I visited the original Murugan Idli Shop on West Masi Street in Madurai, and it was as good as everyone says! The idlis were super soft, fluffy, and just melted in my mouth. I loved the ghee podi idli the most – it had lots of tasty podi and ghee on top. They served everything on a banana leaf with four kinds of yummy chutneys (coconut, tomato, mint, and others) and hot sambar. Every bite was delicious!
