Murari Sweets

Located on a street with the Plus Code 4M22+FXP in Mayiladuthurai, Murari Sweets offers a range of desserts primarily for those who enjoy vegetarian treats. Known for its casual and family-friendly atmosphere, it accommodates various service options including delivery, takeaway, and dine-in. Patrons can expect a selection focusing largely on small plates that may suit groups or families looking for a sweet indulgence.

Visitors have noted changes in quality and variety over the years, suggesting that the selection and flavors may not be as robust as in the past. The stall is strictly vegetarian and provides limited options that are considered kid-friendly, though conveniences like wheelchair accessibility are absent. Customers might find parking easy with the wide space available, yet it's wise to manage expectations regarding crowd sizes due to its seemingly popular location.

The restaurant operates daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, offering extended service hours for those strolling in for an afternoon or evening snack. Despite some customer mentions of sour notes in specific desserts and slightly elevated prices, the establishment maintains a steady flow of visitors. However, more current insights or updates from the restaurant's ownership are lacking, leaving guests to explore its dynamics firsthand.

Tried dahi bhelpuri for the first time here and it was tasty. It was a bit overpriced in my opinion. Tea, coffee and other cold beverages like rose milk, badam kheer were also available. The murari sweet specialty kala jamun was so good. This is my first time trying it and I loved the spongy smoothness of the jamun. But I did not prefer the sugar coating outside which is actually very sweet rather than the jamun itself. If I could just peel back the outer sugar coating or if they could create a special category with no sugar coating, I will highly recommend this to those who prefer subtle sweetness rather than overpowering sugar sweetness.
