Garlic Breads are usually either crunchy or soft. Monkey on Hot Bricks did the impossible, they struck the balance just right. The cheese was not a topping, it felt like it was imbibed in the bread. One word-heavenly.

We also had Cilantro Chicken there. They have this magic coating on the chicken that marries perfectly with the mint chutney. The side salad with it was a prefect medley of onion, beetroot and cabbage flavoured with lemon and a hint of chilli powder.

Nachos with Beans was beautifully layered. The bottom started with Nachos topped with Mexican Salsa and Beans. This was layered with Nachos and cheese again. If this wasn’t enough, they gave Mayonnaise and Salsa sauce with a salad of Cucumber, Tomato and Onion chopped finely.

Fish Sticks were served along with Salsa sauce again. They were crispy on the outside and sweet and mellow on the inside.

Alfredo Penne Pasta Chicken; It was garnished perfectly with creamy, cheesy and thick sauce. It was amazing compared to other exotic places.

There is only one downside to pizza-the bread. Pizzas have too much bread most times. The thinner the better, right? But then we have to compromise on the cheese. NO. MOHB struck the right chords, yet again. They know their balance. The pizza was thin crusted with the exact amount of cheese. The toppings were a good mixture, too.

Stuffed Cottage Cheese with Three Pepper Ratatouille. Three layers of Paneer slices was stuffed with a special curry. It is a huge dish. This dish is their signature. This is served with salad yet again.

The drinks were the cherry on the top of an already delicious cake. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it. Their playlist is good too. They play the classics. We used to go to this place once in four months. We decided to write this just now, in memory of Monkey On Hot Bricks as we found out that the place has recently shut down. We hope food that kind is still made somewhere…

Amazing place. Decent music. Amazing place to hangout with friends. I'll go back just for penne pasta with white sauce and beer. Didn't know such a small, cute place existed. But this is gonna be a weekend hub. A thumbs up for this place.
