We visited Moody’s after seeing the ratings and reviews, mainly to try their hot chocolate. However, the experience was quite disappointing. There was a very long queue, which might be due to the long weekend, but despite being such a big and popular café, there was no staff to manage the queue. Many people skipped the line and created chaos, yet no one from the café tried to organize the situation.When we raised this concern with the owner and the billing counter staff, our feedback was simply ignored.The food was average and not worth the hype. Cleanliness and hygiene were also poorly maintained. Honestly, it feels more like a social media buzz than a genuinely good café.Overall, it was a bad experience for us at Moody’s. I would not recommend visiting just for the hot chocolate—it’s more of a waste of time with no proper management.

After an amazing time at the Botanical Garden, this place is a God-send and their steaming tea and samosas were a pure blessing. Enjoyed it so much that I went for a 2nd helping of samosas, paid of course:) Another thing that I am not able to collect recollect is that only have vegetarians so it was a big let down for me personally. But still, the tea and the snacks made my day... Will visit you again whenever I am in Ooty.
