Kaushambi has become a hub of new food joints and is one of the most famous places in Ghaziabad to dine. With new restaurants mushrooming all over the NCR, this time I decided to go to MOCKING BIRD.The menu had only a handful of items and the variety of the dishes listed was also very meager. It did not have anything special that you would not find in other restaurants of the similar kind. We tried the following items:

Butter Chicken- Being a Butter Chicken lover, I end up ordering it at least 6 out of 10 times at the restaurants I visit and fortunately it does not disappoint me very often. But this time I was disappointed completely. Butter Chicken at Mocking Bird seemed improperly cooked and the pieces were not as juicy and tender as you might expect.

We also ordered Achari Paneer Tikka which was the best item of the evening and something I would desire every time I visit this place. But I guess I wouldn’t be visiting this place frequently as the other items which we ordered were not very good.

If there is one thing that I would not like in the Malai Kofta of any restaurant, it surely has to be the spiciness. With Mockingbird, the case was no different and the malai was very piquant and hence not enjoyable. The services offered were also not that good and can be rated very mediocre.

To sum it all up, I would say if you visit this place (if at all you would), do order the Achari Paneer tikka and you won’t be disappointed. 
