Midnight Cafeteria is located on 80feet road. The place is on the 2nd floor and the building has a small lift. The ambiance consists of wall paintings with tables/chairs. The menu consists of North/South Indian, fast food, chinese dishes desserts. We ordered the Kundapur Upkari which is a dish made with puffed rice with masala, coconut oil, tomatoes and onions. The taste was unique due to coconut oil. The masala could have been more. Next we had the Tandoori Momos. The dish we were served was gravy momos with fried momos. It was nothing close to Tandoori Momos and the gravy was not upto the mark. Overall a huge disappointment in the name of Tandoori Momos. Next we had the Dry Mysore Gobi. It was crisp from the top and soft from inside. The gobi were tossed with a special masala, lime etc. Liked it a lot. The Mexican Rice with Cheesy Peri Peri Cottage Cheese was again a disappointment. The gravy they poured was Paneer Butter Masala and not a grilled Cottage Cheese with peri peri. The rice was made with corn, capsicum, basil and the taste of the rice was good. The Soda Pop was okay with masala, salt and sweet syrup. The cafe lacks people who can cook the dishes on the menu. They should really look at mastering the dishes.
