After a long walk around Colaba, come to this restaurant and have a rest here. Mag St. offers its guests Vietnamese cuisine. Do not leave without degusting good lobster rolls, thai salads and crabs. Had been wanting to visit the restaurant for some time. Finally one afternoon a few days ago, after a harrowing 5 hr spent at a govt hospital, my daughter and I needed some serious ‘Good-Food’ therapy. And Mag St. rose to the challenge. Their Spicy Chicken Gyoza is to die for. It was complemented superbly by the burnt garlic and chili dip…The Pork and White Onion gyoza was good too, but the spicy chicken was hands down the winner. Loved the presentation and taste of their Watermelon and Feta Cheese salad. The cold juicy sweet watermelon was contrasted by the salty and tangy flavour of the feta and the pine nuts add a nice crunch. It was a balm to our hot and tired selves. The pulled lamb bao and the half-n-half pizza was better than ok. Took home their chicken pot pie and mango & coconut croissant, both of which were really good. A tad bit expensive but the food was needed that day to sooth our tired edges.

Last night I visited the cafe. I had no idea this place existed as I am a person who haunts the suburbs—the cafe had diverse choices. The food was well done. I loved the Tamarind Pork with coconut milk. The meat just melted in my mouth.

Had lunch today and must say that the food was excellent. The quality was very good tho the quantity should be increased. Will def visit Mag St Cafe again.
