I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order of Butter Chicken Biryani from Malad Social. I’m a regular customer and frequently order this exact dish, which is why this experience was so surprising. I had clearly mentioned special instructions to add fried onions and extra toppings. Usually, the biryani comes well-garnished with fried onions, cashew nuts, and a half egg. This time, there was absolutely no garnishing at all — no fried onions, no cashews, no egg. It looked incomplete and poorly presented. On top of that, there was way too much gravy in the biryani, which completely spoiled the texture. Biryani should be balanced and flavorful, not overly soggy. This was honestly the worst Butter Chicken Biryani I’ve had from Social so far. I was very hungry, so I ended up eating it, but that doesn’t change the fact that the quality and attention to detail were missing. As a frequent customer, I expected much better consistency. I hope the team looks into this and ensures better quality control going forward. Food: 1
