Rating: 3.5/5 Madras Hotel is one of the oldest and most iconic South Indian spots in Jamnagar, located near Teen Batti. As a child, this place was a pure delight — the aroma of sambhar, crispy dosas, and soft idlis were unforgettable. I recently visited again after many years, and while the place still holds its nostalgic charm and setup, the taste didn’t quite match the memories. The food is decent, but it lacks the punch and authenticity it once had. Service is quick, prices are fair, and it's still a popular go-to for many locals. Would love to see them bring back the same old magic in flavors. Definitely worth a visit if you want a feel of old Jamnagar. Nostalgia. Quick service. Taste not the same as before.
