I was looking for a good Italian restaurant to celebrate my aunt’s birthday and, based purely on online browsing, decided to try Little Italy in Anna Nagar for our special lunch — and what a delightful culinary experience it turned out to be. We were a group of four and started with Crostini Rustici (with artichokes and olives) and Potato & Mushroom Croquettes. For mains, we ordered the Tartufi and Quattro Peperoncino pizzas, along with a classic Lasagna. Everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and yum. For dessert, we had Tiramisu and a decadent Brownie with hot melting chocolate and ice cream. We paired the meal with fresh fruit juices — no sugar, water, or ice — just pure, refreshing goodness. The highlight, however, was the service. While they initially mentioned that they don’t do anything special for birthdays, I jokingly suggested they should consider it. To our surprise and delight, they brought out a complimentary chocolate mousse cake with a candle and even played the Happy Birthday song for my aunt. Such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture! Special mention to our server Sajal, whose warmth, attentiveness, and genuine smile added immensely to the experience. He went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable afternoon. We had such a great time that I forgot to take pictures — too busy enjoying the delicious food! Would definitely return and highly recommend this place if you're in town.
