LEA Canteen in Dharwad is a humble fast-food spot renowned for its unique and flavorful offerings. Popular among law students from a nearby college, it's a must-visit destination for anyone in town. The canteen has also garnered media attention for its distinctive menu items. MUST TRY : Tuppada avalakki, girmit, jolada vade, bread toast INTERESTING FACT: At the entrance they have a board with Basavanna's vachanas written on it- do read this while sipping your hot beverage. For the unfamiliar, Basavanna was a 12th century Indian philosopher and a poet. He was also a social reformer advocating social justice and equality through his short poems called vachanas.
