Seven years ago, LA Unico was a disaster—long waits after placing an order (one hour to be precise), poorly made food, and an overall terrible experience. Against my better judgment, I decided to give them a second chance. Big mistake. If anything, they’ve managed to get worse. Cheese Fondue: What they called "cheese" was nothing more than a runny, flavorless white sauce that resembled watered-down flour paste. Absolutely inedible. Aglio Olio: Served without garlic bread, and when questioned, the manager had the audacity to claim that “nobody serves it with garlic bread.” That’s an outright lie. I’ve ordered pasta at least 150 times, from street-side cafés to high-end restaurants, and it’s always served with bread. The only thing LA Unico is consistent at is being a massive disappointment. If I ever decide to punish myself again, I might give them another shot in another seven years—but honestly, I doubt it.
