Went to this La Cafe on an evening with family. The ambiance was decent, with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The staff were friendly. However, the food was a mixed bag. We ordered Hot Chocolate, Walnut Brownie and Grissino Bread Sticks. The Hot Chocolate was rich and creamy, which was a delight. The Walnut Brownie was fine, but not extraordinary. It could have been fudgier with more walnut toppings for my taste. Stuffing of the Grissino Bread Sticks was really good and the sauce dip that came along was too was flavorful. But the bread stick was a disappointment. I felt the dough was under-baked and lacked the crispiness I was expecting. I could visibly see that the bread stick was a bit doughy inside. Overall, while the ambiance and service were good, the food did not quite meet my expectations. I might visit again for the hot chocolate, and probably to try their Biscoff Tres Leches.
