Disappointed – Nice Ambience, But Poor Food, Service & Hygiene We visited Kubbah Street in Kondotty for dinner with friends. While the interior design and majlis-style seating looked great, the overall experience was quite disappointing. The majlis area had very limited space, so staff had to walk and stand on the same platform where food was served, which didn’t feel hygienic. At one point, bread was hanging off the plate and touched the majlis floor (which also serves as the table). Though the staff offered to replace it after we pointed it out, this could’ve been avoided with better planning and attention to detail. There was no menu provided, ordering was unclear, and the food took very long time to arrive. Sadly, the food quality was very poor, and some of us ended up with upset stomachs afterward. Even after spending nearly ₹5,000, the taste, quantity, and hygiene didn’t match the price. Compared to other restaurants offering far better food and service at similar or even lower prices, this simply wasn’t worth it.The food pricing is really too much . We were also charged extra for majlis seating, which felt unreasonable given the discomfort, heat (due to poor AC), and lack of proper service. The ambience is the only positive, but unfortunately, that’s not enough. We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others unless major improvements are made in food quality, hygiene, service, and overall customer care.
