If you're a fan of rich, authentic Bengali cuisine, Koshe Kosha is a culinary paradise that shouldn't be missed. We recently dined here and were blown away by the depth of flavor, attention to detail, and the unmistakable homely warmth in every bite. The star of the meal was, of course, the legendary Kosha Mangsho. This slow-cooked mutton dish was everything it promised to be — dark, rich, and packed with bold spices. The meat was melt-in-the-mouth tender, and the gravy had that perfect balance of heat and smokiness that true Bengali kosha lovers crave. Equally impressive was the Katla Kalia, a traditional Bengali fish curry done just right. The fish was fresh and flaky, and the gravy was a perfect blend of mustard, onion, and tomato-based richness — slightly tangy with a comforting spice kick that lingers beautifully. To accompany these, we chose the Saffron Rice, which elevated the whole experience. Fragrant, delicate, and beautifully colored, it soaked up the gravies perfectly without overpowering the mains. A true match made in culinary heaven. The ambiance was cozy yet classy, and the service attentive without being intrusive. Every dish felt like a tribute to Bengal’s glorious culinary traditions.
