You will be offered Korean cuisine at this restaurant. To try nicely cooked pork, fried vegetables and kimchi is a truly nice idea. The gracious staff welcomes guests all year round. The fine service demonstrates a high level of quality at Korea Restaurant. Low prices are what you are to pay for your meal.
We had no idea how to even pronounce the name of the dishes. We were therefore given a photo album, which helps us to choose from the almost unknown menu. We decided to have the Jeyuk Bokkeum, which is basically a hot and spicy pork stir fry with vegetables. We also ordered the Ganjang Jeyuk Bokkeum, which was another pork stir fry with vegetables cooked with soya sauce. Both the dishes were served with two side-dishes; a pickle made out of fermented lettuce and a cucumber pickle.
Both the items were great. My favourite was the hot and spicy pork. But the menu is a tad-bit overpriced. No doubt, the food is amazing, but the restaurant is located in Vijay Nagar, and the place is mostly populated by students. And we are always unwilling to put a dent in our pockets. (For the two dishes, we were charged with a bill of Rs. 640)
The restaurant will be a lot more popular, if only they keep the prices and taxes in account. Otherwise, a nice experience.
Plus, they sell many popular Korean items like sea weed and sticky rice. Many other items are also available here.
