Avoid this place if you care about food quality, your money, and your health. Today, my friend and I visited Kolhapuri Pahunchar because he had always wanted to try their chicken. It turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We ordered Chicken Handi with rassa. The chicken was clearly not fresh. It had a foul smell, especially near the bones, which made it impossible to eat comfortably. Fresh chicken should never smell like that. We also ordered extra rassa, but what we received was nothing more than red-colored hot water with almost no flavor. When we raised the issue, instead of acknowledging the problem, the waiter/owner kept insisting that everything was fine. He even claimed that rassa without chicken is supposed to taste like red hot water. Only after repeated complaints did he add some extra masala and serve it again, but it was still tasteless and disappointing. The most disappointing part was not just the poor quality of the food, but the complete refusal to accept feedback or take responsibility. I've attached photos and videos so people can judge for themselves. My advice: Save your money, save your mood, and don't risk your health. There are far better places to enjoy authentic Kolhapuri food. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600
