I have placed an order No 7519 (Burger King) at Zomato today. The order was partially delivered. The parcel was opened infront of the delivery person, however when the issue was taken up with Zomato and Burger King, both refused to take any action. And insisted that the entire order had been delivered. Though the delivery partner confirmed that the order was not complete yet neither the restaurant nor Zomato did anything about it. Also the restaurant hung up quite a few times and Zomato customer care executive closed the chat without providing resolution. The restaurant did not send any invoice with the parcel as well. Tax authorities please look into this aspect. These unscrupulous sellers are duping the govt of tax revenue as well. This is totally unacceptable. My money and mental peace went for a toss. Basically both are cheating customers.. ideally the delivery person should check the order against the bill and then accept it from the restaurant before delivering it to the customer but they don’t do such thing. Who’s the sufferer in the entire scenario “The customer “ , who has already paid for the order and then not receive it . While both the restaurant and the delivery partner are passing the ball to each other. No resolution till now .. and they are least bothered as the orders will keep flowing, one unsatisfied customer hardly matters to them. Service: 1
