Two brothers from Mathura make awesome chats. We loved the Gobi Manchurian, Egg Chowmein made to our taste and Dahi papadi chat. This long weekend we were on a trip to Coorg, on the way we stopped in small eatery in a town called Konanur. We spent a princely amount of Rs. 170 (less than $3) on lunch but left behind our backpack with all my reading materials and tablet under the table. By the time we realised, it was too late to return to get the backpack. The place was not even listed on Google maps so we could not call them. I told my children we will pick the backpack on our drive back. They were surprised at my belief that it will not be stolen. I told them confidently the folks of these small towns in India are the most honest and hardworking people on earth. As expected three days latter on our ride back today we picked my backpack from Kavery Chat It is all these lovely honest hardworking people that make our country so great Happy Independence Day.
