I recently visited Hotel Kaveri, Wagholi, and I must say this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The prices were extremely high compared to the quality and quantity of food served. For the amount we paid, the meal didn’t come anywhere close to being worth it. The thalis especially felt overpriced, with very basic portions that didn’t justify the cost at all. What makes it worse is that in Pune, there are literally hundreds of restaurants that offer far better quantity, quality, and overall value at much more reasonable prices. When you charge premium rates, customers naturally expect premium taste, service, and portion size, but none of that was delivered here. Even simple items like mineral water and cold drinks seemed unnecessarily overpriced. I genuinely regret choosing this place for dinner because the pricing felt more like exploitation than hospitality. There was nothing special about the food or the experience that could justify such a bill. I hope the management seriously revisits their pricing and quality standards because, at this rate, it’s very hard to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Definitely not worth the money.
