We visited Kanha Restaurant and ordered a mix of dishes—chole bhature, dosa, chowmein, and spring roll. The food, overall, was satisfying and flavorful. The chole bhature were delicious—crispy bhature paired well with spicy, well-cooked chole. The dosa was fresh and nicely crisped, and the chowmein had a good balance of flavors without being overly oily. However, as with past experiences, the spring roll was again a disappointment. It lacked the crispness and taste you’d expect and felt more like an afterthought on the menu. Definitely an area where Kanha could improve. A good spot for a quick and tasty meal, but we’ll likely skip the spring rolls next time. Who doesn’t know Kanha! On the plus side, the food quality is good, and the prices are affordable. The bakery and sweet shop section is a treasure trove, offering an impressive variety of Indian sweets, English desserts, and beautifully curated dry fruit and chocolate boxes perfect for gifting. However, the experience is marred by long waiting times, especially on weekends when the place is extremely crowded. The ambience is noisy and chaotic, making it more suitable for takeaways or home delivery rather than dining in. Unless you're a fan of railway station-like chaos, it's best to skip dining here. Seriously Disappointing Honestly, my recent experience at Kanha was a major letdown, especially considering its reputation. I specifically ordered the **Chole Bhature**, a dish I usually enjoyed here from the past few years, but the **bhature were noticeably smaller** than before – felt like they shrunk in the wash! Then came the **Kala Khatta Slush**, which was nothing short of a **disaster**. It tasted artificial and syrupy, a far cry from the refreshing treat it should be. I took a few sips and couldn't bring myself to finish it. The disappointment continued with the **Amritsari Chole Kulche**. The chole lacked any authentic flavor, and the kulche were tough and unappetizing. It was genuinely **pathetic**. The only saving grace, and the reason this isn't a one-star review, was the **ice tea**, which was thankfully decent. Overall, this meal was a huge disappointment. The quality has clearly declined, and I definitely won't be rushing back for their Chole Bhature, Kala Khatta Slush, or Amritsari Chole Kulche anytime soon. There are far better options in Jaipur for these dishes. Save your money and try somewhere else.
