Bandra and it’s cafes have become so overcrowded and popular that’s there hardly any quiet place left, and randomly just walking on the street we found this gem. It’s a very small cafe cum restaurant with limited menu offering mostly South Indian cuisine as the name suggests. The dosa was so so good, much better than what I had at other places. It wasn’t oily at all, that’s the best part! The tomato rice was okayish though. It’s reasonable and pocket friendly cafe and if you are looking for a quiet peaceful place to enjoy the food, this is it! I visited Mysore Thatte Tales today which is situated in Bandra West near Lilavati hospital. Things that I ordered -. Podi Idli - soft ildi. Ghee Roast Dosa - butterly crispy. Erra-Karam Dosa - spice and butter combo. Filter coffee - as I like it in the monsoon Mumbai weather. Cold coffee - absolutely recharging. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
