It was a wonderful experience staying at The Kaafal Homestay & Cafe. We visited for the first time in December 2024, and their warm hospitality made us come back again in March 2025. Honestly, it feels just like home when you're in Mussoorie. Location: The place offers breathtaking views both from the rooms and the cafe. If you're searching for a peaceful spot with stunning scenery, this is the perfect place for you. Security: If safety is a priority — especially for women travelers — you can feel completely at ease here. The owner, Dev Bhaiya, and their brilliant chef, Mohit Bhai, are incredible people. I’ve always heard people say “Pahadi log bohot hi trustworthy hote hain”, and these two are the perfect example. They stay there themselves and are available to help you 24×7. Food: Absolutely amazing! Completely home-cooked meals. Mohit Bhai truly works magic in the kitchen. If you’re following a specific diet (like gluten-free, lactose-free, or special meals for kids), they have great options. I visited with my 1.5-year-old daughter, and Mohit Bhai personally took care of her food needs. Services: Excellent. Rooms are cleaned daily, bedsheets are changed, and hygiene is well-maintained. The washrooms have geysers for hot water, and there’s a kettle in the room as well. You can order food or snacks to your room, or enjoy your meals at the cafe while soaking in the amazing views. Overall, my experience at The Kaafal was unforgettable. I’d highly recommend you visit at least once — you’ll fall in love with the place too! Service: 5
