September 2024: The place has been permanently closed, they have relocated to Bangalore. Hopefully they should be opening a full fledged hotel in Jayalakshmi Puran once they have the Bangalore branch steady. But we are concerned about the price, in this place itself the items were pricey but worth the taste and fill, now not sure when they will open and what they will charge for the menu items. August 2024: Awesome place for Mushroom Biriyani and roasted soya shawarma. They will also have soya chaap on the menu. Tried their authentic Nati Mushroom biryani which tasted like normal biryani rice with mushroom. The roasted soya shawarma with cheese could be rated 3/5 as it was more or less like a normal rolls and is overpriced too. The cafe has a good ambience with few seating arrangements and has been maintained well. Kuruku is an underground eatery place, where it is run by the owner itself(if I’m not wrong). The ambience is pretty pleasant and very comfy. We ordered roasted soya chunks spicy Shawarma rolls with cheese.The taste was very good. I haven’t had any dish like this before! and I see the chef is pretty well trained to make delicious foods like this, you guys should give a try. I wish I see Kuruku in Bangalore near future.
