After reading so many reviews we went to this place with so many expectations.. But I was disappointed after having lunch. The food was good but it was not an authentic nepali one. I felt it was too spicy for a nepali food. The ambience was not cozy and smokes coming from the kitchen which caused uneasiness. Service was good. I recently visited Kathmandu Kitchen in Darjeeling and was thoroughly impressed! The ambience is absolutely lovely—they've done a fantastic job capturing an authentic ethnic Nepali vibe that makes the space warm and inviting. The food is exceptional. A must-try is their Chatamari (often called Nepali pizza)—a delicious, gluten-free rice-based base with a unique twist from the chef. The balance of flavors and the crisp texture of the base was spot on! Another standout dish is the Pressure Cooker Momo—simply amazing, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. If you're in Darjeeling and looking for authentic Nepali cuisine, this place is a gem. They also offer Korean, Chinese, and seafood options, so there’s something for everyone. Highly recommended!
