Hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had in a very long time. The food was excessively oily, wildly inconsistent, and nowhere close to the quality you would expect for the absurd prices they charge. For a place that clearly thinks very highly of itself, the execution is embarrassingly poor. Nothing tasted refined, balanced, or thoughtfully prepared. Everything felt rushed, careless, and honestly lazy. The service somehow managed to be even worse than the food. There was absolutely no sense of basic hospitality. Not even a glass of water was offered, which is literally the bare minimum in any restaurant. Plates were not served properly, the staff appeared uninterested and disengaged, and it was clear they did not care whether customers were comfortable or satisfied. When we asked about specials or recommendations, instead of doing their job, the response was a dismissive “This is the menu, you can order from that.” The arrogance and rudeness were shocking. If you have no interest in guiding or serving customers, then you really should not be running a restaurant. The staff came across as unprofessional, poorly trained, and downright rude, with zero sense of courtesy or customer service. For the price point, this place is an absolute joke. When you are charging premium rates, you expect quality, consistency, and at least basic respect. You get none of that here. It genuinely feels like they are relying on hype or location rather than substance, because the food and service do not justify the cost in any way. Overall, this was a complete waste of money, time, and appetite. There are far better options that actually value customers and know how to serve decent food without an attitude problem. I will never return and strongly advise others to think twice before spending their hard earned money here. Overpriced, overrated, rude, and forgettable. This place deserves to be remembered, but for all the wrong reasons. JimMe's Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant in Bandra that has been around for over 30 years. It is known for its large portions and affordable prices. I recently visited JimMe's Kitchen with some friends and we ordered the steak and chips, dry chilli pork, and pork ribs. The steak and chips were cooked well and the chips were crispy. The dry chilli pork was delicious and had a good amount of heat. The pork ribs were also very good and were tender and juicy. Overall, we had a great meal at JimMe's Kitchen and would definitely recommend it to others. Here is a more detailed review of each dish: * **Steak and chips:** The steak was cooked to our liking and was very tender. The chips were crispy and had a good amount of salt. The portion size was large and could easily feed two people. * **Dry chilli pork:** This dish was my favorite of the three. The pork was cooked until it was very tender and had a good amount of heat from the chilli peppers. The dish also had a nice sweetness to it from the soy sauce. * **Pork ribs:** The pork ribs were also very good. They were tender and juicy and had a nice char on the outside. The sauce was sweet and savoury and complemented the pork well. The service at JimMe's Kitchen was friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly and our waiter was very attentive. The prices at JimMe's Kitchen are very reasonable. Overall, I had a great meal at JimMe's Kitchen. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Here are some additional pros and cons of JimMe's Kitchen: **Pros:** * Large portions * Affordable prices * Delicious food * Friendly and attentive service * Long history in Bandra **Cons:** * Can be crowded, especially on weekends * Parking can be difficult to find * The restaurant is a bit dated Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pork Chilly, Macarons, Beef Chilly, JK Special Pork Ribs, Crispy Spare Ribs Szechuan Style, JK Spare Ribs, Soft Pork Chilly Fry, Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce
